So for the lovers of underground music I have a must hear artist. He is a very talented artist who goes by the name T-Kells. My breakdown of this album will be 4 categories: The Album Cover, The Music, The Lyrics, and what I feel listening to each song. I chose the last category because music has always been a way of expressing ones feelings but this particular album made me think about more than just feelings but the memories associated with those feelings.

1-On my Mind
This is the type of song that makes you reflect on whether or not the living you're living is a good one. I think that it totally sets the tone for what you should be expecting and how you should feel. The music was relaxing and any could relate to the lyrics. This is one of my favorite tracks and its just the intro LOL.
2-Hood State of Mind
When I read the title I thought of what the world "Hustler" meant back in middle and high school. I thought of those guys who were sellin candy, cool-aid powder, and sodas or juices. This is the song of men with a drive to be something more than what they are in life. You don't have to be a hustler to have ambition though and thats exactly what this song says to me. Be a hustler about wanting to reach your goals in life.
3-Moving On
Sometimes enough is enough and you have to give up what you thought was a good thing. Sometimes you just gotta move on from something you have to admit isn't for you. Everyone has met that one girl you hook up with who makes you realize later down the road that its just not gonna work. The hook is so perfect for this song cause its what most honest have to do. The music is another laid back sound that boosts the message behind the song.
4-Summer Days
Everybody has that moment of embarrassment where you try talking to a girl and end up finding out that she's married, in a relationship, or you find out that you're not the only man in her life period. I mean maybe this is why they call them Summer Crushes. They last for a season and gone without a reason. I Can imagine a video with this son where T-Kells and Jay Treble is cruizin down the street reminiscing. Sad things is females make it seem like we do alot of bad things...we do, but when a girl does bad things its like one thing but one HUGE thing. Why do honest men find the married or taken women?
5-Gotta Have U
I had to start this song over cause the transition was so smooth that I didnt know the track had changed. Great job on the music. I feel like I'm in a night club for real with how awesome this track is. I always thought that if you want something bad enough then you'll find a way to get them. I feel everyone should be able relate to this song From the upscale and middle class, to the thugs and gangsters trying to get their life on track.Some girls are just that special and for the girls who don't know no better...some of you are that special.
6-#Dash Cool & Class
The title speaks for itself folks. You dress to impress whether its your Sundays Finest or those addidas with the Polo and True Religion jeans, those fly shades, and that cologne that attracts every girl in a 5 miles radius lol. Be on your grown man shit when you're Dashing, Cool, and Classy.
7-Thoughts In A Club (Interlude)
Why is it for me that the interlude of all mixtapes or underground artists is the best track on the album? I love the track so much that I felt like it should be as long as one of the regular songs. Is it the beat? Is it the lyrics or the combination there of? But its a lot of temptation around when you gotta have thoughts in the club.
8-Love Lessons [Finally Understand]
This is for all those who get stuck chasing that one girl who keeps you in the friend zone or on the back burner. Love Lesson; Things you learn about life from heart break. I like the old school feel of the beat in this song. The lyrics again are right on point with what many people go through lookin for love.
9-Living In The Moment
Everyone has that moment in where they experience a life changing event. When I heard what happened to my friend I almost couldn't believe what had happened.I went to my room that night thinking...damn we all do live life in the moment. I remember when I got robbed in broad daylight and no one would help me and my friend. I can honestly say I can personally relate to this song. I'm glad to see my friend is okay from night but it really makes you appreciate the life you have now more than ever.
10-Gotta Have U [Remix]
Jay Treble did an exceptional job on this track. I had to listen 3x because I was very impressed with how it turned out. I feel like your opposite should be someone who brings out the best in you, someone you gotta have. When it comes to the music though I can't stop playing it in my head.
Overall T-Kells did an awesome job with this album and I'm hoping he does a video for tracks 2, 6, 7, 9 and 10. I think the best things about this album is how it all syncs together so smoothly. Keep up the great work on a job well done.
